Saint-Gobain is planning new investments in Egypt
The project appears to be the first building in the Middle East to incorporate the urban forest concept.
This initiative comes in partnership with the Italian architect Stefano Boeri, who developed this concept in 2014 with the Bosco Verticale project in Milan, Italy.
CEO of Archplan Developments, Ahmed Ayman Ashour, said: “We adopt a policy of using sustainability elements in Il Cuore Verde through solar-powered lighting and intelligent control of lighting and heat to reduce harmful carbon emissions and electricity consumption.”
